From a young age I would find myself flipping through the property pages of the local newspaper and looking at the pictures of places for sale. I wouldn't just look at them and go 'Oh that is nice', I would LOVE the interior pictures and think to myself If I was the owner of that home, what would I do. I have done that all of my life and I still do it today. It was nice until recent really that I decided this is something I really want to do with my life. 

 

Throughout the last couple of years I have really studied and learned more about my own sense of style, something I'm very comfortable and confident in. I read in magazines when a designer is interviewed the same question ''How would you describe your style?''. My answer to that would be, my style is Me. I don't have a specific style because I love and appreciate all styles, and I use those styles to make my own. One day I could be in love with an ultra modern spacious home in the city, the next I could have a longing for a cozy, rustic retreat in the hills. My style depends on my mood. But no matter what it is, I'm very confident with it. 

 

It was just over a year ago I decided to place my inspirations and design work into a portfolio to showcase what I like, hoping that someday, it would be enough to advance into a career. I know exactly what I want in my life and I know where I want to be and so working towards that has not only been exciting and fullfilling, but rather a lesson about myself and the field I want to work in. 

 

I would love to be able to bring my ideas and hidden magic that I have kept inside of me for so long into someone elses lives. It would be a dream.

It took me a little while to fully understand what Design, Homes and Lifestyle actually meant to me. I always had an interest in beautiful houses, furniture and decorations, It just didn't click until around 2 or 3 years ago that this is possibly something I'd love to base myself in. I often find myself looking through property pages of newspapers, checking out the gorgeous pictures in Home and Interior publications and thinking to myself, I want to do this someday. With such a creative and active mind, I'm constantly finding new inspirations and hoping that one day, someone will hire me to work some hidden magic into their lives.
